Breathwork

  • Breathwork is an intentional practice of controlled breathing techniques designed to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By focusing on your breath, you can tap into deeper states of relaxation, clarity, and self-awareness.

    Health benefits of breathwork include stress reduction, improved mental clarity, emotional release, and enhanced lung and immune health. In addition, participating in group sessions fosters a sense of belonging and connection, enriching the experience.

  • Berlin Breath Club widely offers a style of breathwork called Conscious Connected Breathwork, where participants breathe feely and naturally without restriction.

    Guest facilitators may bring their own methods. Check our calendar and sign up to the newsletter for more details.

  • Absolutely! Beginners and avid practicers are welcome. You are in control—return from focused breathing to normal breathing anytime needed.

  • Breathwork classes range in duration from 90 minutes (60 minutes focused breathing) to 180 minutes (90 minutes focused breathwork). Classes include an introduction to breathing practice and tips for transitioning back into your day.

  • We’ll start with an introduction and check in, followed by 5–7 minutes of movement to activate the body and breath, and 60–90 minutes of active breathing. After, we invite you to a sharing circle and snacks in a check out ceremony.

  • If you have conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, or severe anxiety, consult your doctor before joining. You are ultimately responsible for your health. Learn more

  • Frequency varies by individual, but beginners should start with 1–2 focused breathwork classes weekly to allow the body and mind to integrate the experience. It can become a daily practice over time.

  • Breathwork can induce altered states of consciousness that some might describe as psychotropic. This phenomenon arises from various breathing techniques that stimulate the nervous system, affecting brainwave patterns and bodily sensations. As practitioners engage in controlled breathing, they may experience feelings of euphoria, deep relaxation, or profound emotional release. The flow of oxygen and the rhythmic patterns can enhance creativity, foster introspection, and promote a sense of connectedness. These experiences can reveal insights into one’s mental and emotional landscapes, making breathwork a powerful tool for personal transformation and healing.

Logistics

  • Please do your best to be on time, or up to 15 minutes early. Doors close at the start time. Plan ahead to avoid missing the class as late arrivals cannot be refunded.

  • Classes can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time. While cancellations are not possible, purchased classes, gift cards, and packages are transferrable. Learn more

  • Berlin Breath Club is situated at Karl-Marx-Straße 58 in Neukölln. If an event takes place at a different location, it will be clearly communicated on our website and in your booking confirmation email.

Accessibility

Berlin Breath Club is committed to making its offers accessible to all guests whenever possible (including visitors with non-apparent challenges). The following information pertains to the Neukölln Studio at Karl-Marx-Straße 58, 12043 Berlin. Special events are sometimes located at other venues. We will strive to pass their accessibility information onto you along with event details.

Berlin Breath Club aims to provide an accessible website experience with high contrast colors, large type, image descriptions, and limited movement. If you have any questions, suggestions, or need any kind of assistance, please email Support or chat via WhatsApp or mobile phone.

Entrance Access

Please note that there is a staircase entry to the studio at Karl-Marx-Straße 58. Enter through a gate, to the rear building, and down one flight of stairs to the basement level. Unfortunately we are not wheelchair-accessible. Berlin Breath Club also hosts special classes at additional locations with more accessible entryways. Public Transportation

The closest barrier-free underground metro station is U Rathaus Neukölln (U7), at 270 meters from the studio. The closest bus station is U Rathaus Neukölln/Alfred-Scholz (M43, 166), which is 400 meters to the studio.

Parking

Berlin Breath Club has no private parking places available in the Neukölln studio and is not able guarantee public handicapped parking places.

Toilet

A private bathroom is available in the studio, adjacent to the activity space.

Packages & Gift Cards

Good news! Both Packages and Gift Cards offer saving opportunities.

How Packages Work

Packages include savings on multiple pre-purchased classes without the need for an ongoing subscription.

  1. The purchaser of a Package receives a unique code sent to the email they provide. The code contains credits that can be redeemed at berlinbreathclub.com to schedule any combination of studio or virtual bookings.

  2. Class amounts are based off a standard 90-minute class. Select classes may be shorter (cost less) or longer (cost more). For the purchaser’s convenience, credit values can be used toward any class combination. Unused credits can be used towards the purchase of additional bookings. 

  3. Packages expire (2) years after the purchase date and are transferrable, but non-refundable.

How Gift Cards Work

Gift Cards are a perfectly unique wellness gift and may be redeemed for any studio or virtual experience.

  1. The purchaser of a gift card receives an e-card containing a code to privately share with the recipient. The code contains credits that can be redeemed at berlinbreathclub.com to schedule any in-person or virtual booking. (It is not possible to send a gift card directly to their recipient during checkout.)

  2. Class amounts (1, 2, or 3) are based off a standard 90-minute class. Select classes may be shorter (less cost) or longer (more cost). For the recipient’s convenience, gift card credits can be used toward any class combination. Unused credits can be used towards the purchase of additional bookings. 

  3. Gift cards expire (2) years after the purchase date and are transferrable, but non-refundable.

Rescheduling

Bookings for recurring classes may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the start time.

To reschedule a booking, select the Edit Booking button in your initial confirmation email that you received after booking. You are brought to a website page where you can choose a new date and/or time (where applicable). When finished rescheduling, you are taken to an updated confirmation page and receive an email with the details of your updated appointment.

Please note that a class can only be rescheduled if it is recurring (with available future dates), and can not be transferred to a different class.

Cancellation Policy

Booking cancellations and refunds are not offered at this time.

While all sales are final, services purchased may be transferred between persons. Cancellations and refunds are not offered for Bookings, Packages, Gift Cards, or absence.

Bookings for recurring classes may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the start time. If Berlin Breath Club cancels a class, a full credit or refund will be issued.

  • Our cozy studio is perfect for a variety of activities! Whether you’re planning a breathwork session, a yoga class, mindfulness practices, or even sports activities, we’ve got you covered. You can also host events like readings, screenings, or private gatherings—let us help you create the perfect space for your needs. 

  • Absolutely! Our studio is a wonderful space for hosting workshops, classes, or private events. Just let us know what you’re planning, and we’ll do everything we can to make it a seamless and enjoyable experience for you and your guests.

  • We’ve got everything you need to feel right at home! The studio comes equipped with yoga mats, boosters, cushions, blankets, eyefolds for breathwork, a sound system, and even hooks for activities like aerial yoga. There’s also a small kitchen where you can prepare snacks, tea, or coffee. Need a projector? Just ask, and we’ll make it available for you.

  • Of course! You’re welcome to bring your own equipment or props. Just make sure they’re clean and safe to use in the studio so everyone can enjoy the space comfortably.

  • Our studio is super versatile! For workshops with mats, it comfortably fits up to 10 people. If you’re planning a seated or standing event, the space can accommodate 20-30 people, depending on the setup. Let us know your group size, and we’ll help you plan the perfect arrangement. Plus, if you need more space, we have other locations available that can host up to 40 people on mats—just ask, and we’ll make it happen!

  • While we don’t have parking in the courtyard, you’ll find plenty of parking options on Karl-Marx-Straße. If you’re coming by bike, you’re welcome to park it right in front of the studio—easy and convenient!

  • Booking a studio is super easy! You can check availability and reserve your spot directly through our online booking system on our website. Prefer to chat? Feel free to reach out to us via email or phone, and we’ll help you secure your desired time slot.

  • While cancellations aren’t possible, you can reschedule your time slot up to 48 hours before your original booking. Just let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll help you find a new date and time that works for you.
